There’s an intense focus on application to your daily work, so it’s crucial that you’re already active in procurement, contract management, or category management.
This is the primary requirement for entry onto the CIPP and CIAPP programs. For the advanced CIAPP program, we prefer a Master’s degree or at least a Bachelor’s degree, plus at least five years’ relevant procurement experience.
Study online at your own pace. Typically, you’ll complete the CIPP program in six months to one year (assuming at least five hours of study/month). The CIAPP program will typically take 12 months.
The IFPSM is the umbrella association of 45 national and regional purchasing associations worldwide. It’s the largest body and global representative of the procurement and supply-chain industry. For more info, visit www.ifpsm.org.
To further professionalize the industry and to try to bridge the gap between education and the demand from employers, IFPSM launched a significant research project called the Global Standard.
This establishes clear, objective criteria for assessing and accrediting educational programs at bachelor level. Programs meeting the Purchasing and Supply Global Standard have objectively shown they can produce graduates who meet a rigorous world standard.
Skill Dynamics’ CIPP and CIAPP programs offer a rigorous set of established standards and competencies for those actively engaged in procurement.
They’re credentials recognized throughout the world, denoting world-class training and experience, and show you can competently work as a corporate buyer.
