Frequently Asked Questions

There’s an intense focus on application to your daily work, so it’s crucial that you’re already active in procurement, contract management, or category management.

This is the primary requirement for entry onto the CIPP and CIAPP programs. For the advanced CIAPP program, we prefer a Master’s degree or at least a Bachelor’s degree, plus at least five years’ relevant procurement experience.

Study online at your own pace. Typically, you’ll complete the CIPP program in six months to one year (assuming at least five hours of study/month). The CIAPP program will typically take 12 months.
