This non-jurisdictional collection of microlearning elements provides an awareness of import-related issues, including classification, country of origin, valuation, permitting, and recordkeeping requirements. When incorporated into a corporate learning plan, the collection is designed so that jurisdiction-specific content can be added to provide additional depth and detail to the training.

- "C-suite" personnel in smaller-to-medium-size companies (or business unit managers in large organisations) to provide them with a basic understanding of what the business and its departments need to navigate and comply with import controls
- Sales personnel in any business engaged in international trade to provide them with a basic understanding of how import controls may impact sales timelines and also impact pricing – sales personnel also may be called upon from time to time to provide documentation or information in support of import control compliance or customs processes.
- Contract administration personnel in any business engaged in international trade to provide them with a basic understanding of what types of documents and information they may need to provide (or request) in support of the business's import operations and import compliance, particularly in the areas of valuation, applications for permits and certifications, and the documentation required for customs formalities
- Engineering personnel in any business engaged in international trade to provide them with a basic understanding of how the design, materials, and applications of a product relate to its tariff classification and also other types of import controls (such as phytosanitary, quality and standards, environmental, etc.), and the role that such personnel may need to play in supporting a product classification or permit/certificate application made by the business
- Procurement personnel in any business that procures internationally to provide them with a basic understanding of how import controls and customs can impact product and supply chain timelines and costs – procurement personnel also may be called upon from time to time to provide documentation or information in support of import control or customs processes.
