Course Summary:
This advanced-level course equips trade compliance practitioners with the information and resources they need to operate in compliance with U.S. sanctions regulations. Required course content provides a concise overview of DDTC, OFAC, and BIS sanctions-related regulations and a series of real-world scenarios of common situations that illustrate how these regulations affect a variety of activities in an organization and how companies should respond. The course also contains an extensive selection of regime-specific reference material, including regulatory excerpts on specific prohibitions, key licensing provisions, and interpretive guidance curated by CE subject matter experts specifically to aid practitioners in navigating U.S. sanctions issues. This reference material will be updated in real time as regulations, policies, and guidance change.
The approximate duration of the required course content is one hour and 20 minutes. The approximate duration of additional reference material is five hours for a total of approximately six hours and 20 minutes.
