Antidumping & Countervailing Duties: A Practical Guide for Importers and Producers

Thursday 12th February, 2026, 12:00 EST

This webinar provides a foundational, practical overview of the U.S. antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) system, including investigations, administrative reviews, and key trade compliance considerations when goods are subject to AD/CVD measures.

The webinar explains how AD/CVD cases are initiated and evaluated, the roles of the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission, and how margins, injury determinations, and post-order proceedings affect ongoing business operations. It also focuses on practical compliance and risk-management issues, such as managing shipments during investigations, understanding cash deposit and assessment mechanics, and navigating scope issues.

By the end of the webinar, participants will have a working knowledge of AD/CVD investigations and reviews, along with practical tools for managing trade compliance and supply chain risk in an AD/CVD environment.

Speaker Natalie Zink is an attorney who advises on international trade and customs matters, with an emphasis on antidumping and countervailing duties (AD/CVD), compliance strategy, cross-border risk management, and related litigation. Natalie served as an attorney in the Office of the Chief Counsel for Trade Enforcement and Compliance (CC-TEC) at the U.S. Department of Commerce where she supported all stages of the AD/CVD process, including petition initiation, administrative reviews, scope determinations, remand proceedings, and court litigation. She provided legal guidance on duty calculations, interpreted trade-remedy regulations, and collaborated with enforcement analysts and policymakers on litigation risk. Natalie has drafted briefs before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and contributed to the U.S. Government's submission before a USMCA panel reviewing Canadian softwood lumber duties.
